Audi Unveils The Sporty Themed Vehicle

Audi today unveil the new Audi Q3 Vail at the Detroit Motor Show. The Compact SUV is named after the famous winter sports venue in the United States and unites a powerful presence with a sporty lifestyle.  The Q3 Vail is a highlight of the young model series that launched in 2011.

The Audi Q3 Vail represents a new, potential variation on the SUV concept. The themed vehicle has been designed for young fans of winter sports who love skiing or snowboarding. The sporty and robust design offers many practical attributes.

Basics of the new Audi Q3 Vail include:

•    2.5-liter five –cylinder turbocharged engine
•    Roof rail support for sporting equipment
•    Painted in Energy Red
•    Charging station- can be used for storing flashlights or other electrical devices
•    Thermos bottle- which can be used to chill or warm drinks

The A3 TCNG concept car also made an appearance at the show. The A3 TCNG is part of Audi’s Balanced Mobility Project, which aims to make the company a leader in renewable energy and is a step closer to achieving CO2-neutral mobility.  The A3 TCNG, which will enter series production in 2013, will run entirely on e-gas, a synthetic methane gas which Audi will manufacture directly via wind energy as part of the e-gas project.
