On the opening day of the 2011 Los Angeles International Automobile Show, Jaguar Land Rover will continues its new product and concept vehicle momentum with the Global and North American debuts of multiple new product and concept cars.

First up is the world debut of the 2012 Jaguar XKR-S Convertible, which joins the XKR-S Coupe as the fastest and most powerful Jaguar models ever built.

Land Rover, on the heels of the globally successful launch of the Range Rover Evoque, will be showcasing two design concepts, the hard-top DC100 and open-top DC100 Sport. The cars are design studies for what a future Land Rover Defender could look like. The DC100 Sports will be donning a new colour of ‘Heritage Blue’, new wheels and more aggressive off-road tires for the LA appearance.

Finally, Jaguar’s C-X16 Production Concept will make its North American debut. The “performance hybrid” combines a 3.0-liter, 375 horsepower supercharged V6 with a 94 horsepower hybrid drivetrain.
