Middle East & North African entrepreneurs nominated for the Cartier Women's Initiative Award

Egypt's Samira Negm and Sara-Kristina Hannig Nour and UAE's Thea Myhrvold have been shortlisted for the 2017 international Cartier Women's Initiative Awards that take place in Singapore on April 12th, 2017. 

Designed to support women entrepreneurs, the Cartier Women's Initiative awards were established in 2006 by Cartier, the INSEAD business school and McKinsey & Company. With 18 finalists across the following regions: Latin America, North America, Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East & North Africa, and Asia-Pacific, the awards promote female-led and socially responsible startup companies.

The announcement of the Laureates takes place during the Awards ceremony in Singapore on April 12th, 2017. Each regional winner will be awarded $100,000 in funding, personalised coaching for one year, networking and visibility opportunities.
