Former British Olympic track cyclist and successful amateur jockey, Victoria Pendleton, is looking forward to her exciting new role as a TV pundit in Rio for the 2016 Olympics.
Pendleton is totally geared up for the Olympics and has already stated the chances for medal hopes are high: “I know that team GB is going to have a fantastic result. I think the medal expectation is a little higher than London, which is quite bold.
There are so many fantastic athletes selected in the team, they will be sure to go out there and give their best result.” These athletes include the likes of Nicola Adams, Lizzie Armitstead, Jessica Ennis-Hill, Mo Farah and Alistair Brownlee.
Pendleton is renowned for her competitive spirit that has proven she is the ‘Queen of Speed’ both on the track and the turf.
A lover of speed, Pendleton was challenged to a one on one speed race against the world’s fastest air-rail link as it celebrates its 18th milestone.
